Applications made available at City Clerk’s Office, 6530 W. 79th Street, Burbank, IL Monday thru Friday, 9:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M.

Application fee is $20.00 (non-refundable).

Qualifications are: 21 years of age at time of application; citizen of the United States; possess ability to read, write and speak the English language; possess a valid drivers license; at least 60
hours of college credits with a minimum g.p.a. of 2.5 or better, or in lieu of college, 2 years of completed military service with an honorable discharge. Illinois State Training Board Certified

Officers (lateral transfers) are welcome to apply.

Starting salary as of 1/1/06 - $41,202.00 Lateral transfers salary may be higher based on years of experience and training.
