April 2008
12 Apr 08- DUI/ Accident
Daniel VanHowe III M/ 29 yoa, 5539 Fairway Drive, Crestwod, IL. has been
charged with DUI, to fast for conditions, no insurance, and driving off the
roadway, striking several vehicles parked in the 8500 block of Central Ave.
A court date has been set for May, 13, 2008.
12 Apr 08- DUI/ Accident
Grzgorz S. Sojka, M/22 yoa, 4446 S. Archer Ave, Chicago, IL has been charged
with DUI, no valid drivers license, no proof of insurance, and failure to
reduce speed to avoid an accident following an accident at 79th Street and
Cicero Ave. A court date has been set for May, 13, 2008.
06 Apr 08-Battery
Sandra J. Gooden, F/46 yoa, 8911 S. Emerald, Chicago, Il has been charged
with simple battery, damage to property, and disorderly conduct. Gooden was
arrest after causing a disturbance at the Jewel Food Store, 79109 S. Cicero.
Once at the station Gooden struck a Burbank booking officer in the face
while being processed. A court date has been set for 2 May 08.
06 Apr 08- DUI
Jacek Paul Dziadkowiec, M/20 yoa, 9112 S. Central, Oak Lawn, IL has been
charged with DUI, underage possession of alcohol, and disobeyed a stop sign
following a traffic stop in the 7700 block of Central Ave. Court has been
set for May 2, 2008.
06 Apr 08- DUI /accident
Tina M. Hedges, F/36 yoa, 14513 S. Trumble, Midlothian, IL has been charged
with DUI and no insurance following a single vehicle accident in the parking
lot of Just tires, 8640 S. Cicero. A court date has been set for May, 13,
2008.
03 Apr 08- DUI
Mark J. Beslic, M/52 yoa, 6600 W. 87th Street, Burbank, IL has been charged
with DUI and speeding following a traffic stop. A court date has been set
for 13 May 08.
March 2008
28 Mar 08- DUI/ resisting arrest
Justin R. Martyka, M/20 yoa, 8741 S. 55th Ct. Oak Lawn, IL has been charged
with DUI, suspended D/L, resisting arrest, transportation of alcohol, and,
speeding following a traffic stop in the area of 81st Street and Laramie.
Court date was April 28, 2008.
22 Mar 08- DUI
Michael F. DelamoraM/31 yoa, 6021 S. Kolmar, Chicago, IL has been charged
with DUI, suspended D/L, no proof of insurance, and resisting a police
officer after a suspicious auto investigation in the area of 82nd and
Melvina. Court date has been set for 6 May 08.
16 Mar 08- DUI
Bud Tserenjankhar, M/43 yoa, 9089 1st Street, Berrien Springs, MI has been
charged with DUI following a complaint of an intoxicated driver in the area
of 85th and Cicero Ave. a court date has been set for 2 May 08.
16 Mar 08- DUI
Christopher H. Danhoff, M/31 yoa, 9700 S. Normandy Ave, Oak Lawn, IL has
been charged with DUI, no proof of insurance, speeding, and failure to
signal following a traffic stop in the area of 87th Street and Mayfield Ave.
A court date was set for 17 Apr 08.
14 Mar 08- Armed Robbery
Two subjects, one armed with a black semi-automatic handgun, entered a rear
kitchen door of St. Laurence High School, 5556 W. 77th Street, Burbank, IL,
at approximately 1:30 PM. The subjects ordered a lunch room staff member
into the kitchen office and the two proceeded to remove the currency from
the days register drawers. Both subject subsequently fled the school and
entered a maroon or burgundy mid sized vehicle and fled the school parking
lot.
The offenders had no contact with any students during the incident and no
one was injured as a result of the incident.
All the schools in close proximity to St. Laurence High School were placed
on a temporary lock down and officers were assigned to each school. Schools
were able to resume their regular schedule when it was determined that the
area was clear of any potential danger.
The offenders are described as:
Offender #1: M/B, approximately 30 yoa, 6’00”, 240 lbs, wearing a black
leather jacket and dark colored pants.
Offender #2: M/B, approximately 25 yoa, 5’11”, 185 lbs, wearing a grey
hooded sweat shirt, black jeans and armed with a semi-automatic handgun.
Possible vehicle description: Older model mid sized maroon vehicle, possibly
a 4 door.
09 Mar 08- DUI/ Accident
Pawel Garczek, M/21 yoa, 7503 S. Latrobe Ave, Burbank, IL has been charged
with DUI, alcohol level over .08, damage to city property, failure to reduce
speed to avoid an accident, and improper turn following a single vehicle
accident at State Road and Latrobe Ave. a court date was set for 28 Apr 08.
03 Mar 08- DUI/ Accident
Ronald J. Tellone M/46 yoa, 8055 S. Nashville, Burbank, IL has been charged
with DUI, revoked D/L, and failure to yield while turning following an
accident at 83rd street and Central. A court date was set for 7 Apr 08.
February 2008
23 Feb 08- DUI
Jorge O. Ramos, M/22 yoa, 1326 W. 18th Place, Chicago, IL has been charged
with DUI, BAC over .08, suspended drivers license, and no insurance
following a one car accident in the parking lot of the Oliver Garden
Restaurant at 4801 W. 77th Street. The vehicle was found stuck on a snow
bank with Ramos sleeping behind the wheel with the engine running and in
gear at 8:20 AM. Ramos has a court date of March 31, 2008.
22 Feb 08- Possession of controlled
substance/ DUI
Gilbert Wade Sandovol, M/40 yoa, 16544 Coachwood Trail, Tinley Park, IL has
been charged with possession of cocaine, DUI, BAC over the legal limit, and
speeding following a traffic stop in the 8000 block of Nottingham at 11:18
PM. Bond was set at $50,000 D-bond with a pending court date of March 13th,
2008.
21 Feb 08- Residential Burglary
Ronnie L. Esterling M/ 21 yoa, 7723 S. Shore Drive Apt. 315, Chicago, IL has
been charged with two counts of residential burglary and one count of
attempted residential burglary following his arrest on the listed date.
Burbank police responded to a burglary in the 8300 block of South Lawler
with a description of a possible offender. Police located Esterling fitting
the description in the 8200 block of Lawler. Esterling was identified by
witnesses and taken into custody. Evidence and a subsequent statement
implicated Esterling in two other residential burglaries in Burbank.
Esterling was issued a $150,000 d-bond with a pending court date of February
28th.
19 Feb 08- Possession of controlled substance
William H. Martin M/ 28 yoa, 4558 S. LaCrosse, Chicago, IL ahs been charged
with possession of a controlled substance and traffic offenses following a
stop on the listed date in the 8400 block of S. Cicero Avenue. It was also
discovered that Martin had a warrant for his arrest from a previous drug
charge. A bond amount was set at $100,000.
15 Feb 08- Home Invasion
Two offenders forced their way into a home in the 7700 block of Menard
Avenue and stole $100 and some credit cards from the 86 year old victim. The
incident occurred at 12:33 AM on the listed date. The victim received minor
injuries which were treated by Burbank Paramedics. The offenders were
described as male whites, between the ages of 17-19, offender #1 being
approx 5’06”, 165 lbs and offender # 2 being approx. 5’08”, 185 lbs. Both
subjects were wearing dark clothing. This appears to be an isolated
incident.
14 Feb 08-DUI
Nicholas M. Latona, M/23 yoa, 7835 S. Blazer, #2, Justice, IL has been
charged with DUI, open alcohol, no head lights, and failure to reduce speed
to avoid an accident. On the listed date at 2:00 AM Latona struck the rear
of another vehicle. Latona received minor injuries as a result of the
accident. He has a pending court date of March 21, 2008.
09 Feb 08- DUI
Joseph W. Dore, M/21 yoa, 8428 S. Latrobe, Burbank, IL has been charged with
DUI, reckless driving, failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident, and no
insurance following a traffic accident in the 8000 block of Latrobe at 11:25
AM. There were no injuries as a result of an accident. A court date has been
set for 31 Mar 08.
09 Feb 08-DUI
Erald Groballi, M/18 yoa, 7749 W. Joliet Rd. Tinley Park, IL has been
charged with DUI, BAC over the legal limit, no insurance, and speeding
following a traffic stop in the 6000 block of 87th Street at 3:39 AM. A
court date has been set for 12 Mar 08.
08 Feb 08- Criminal trespass to property
Andrezj J. Galas, M/ 28 yoa, 8733. S. Tully, Oak Lawn, IL and Krzysztof P.
Galas, M/31, 5613 W. 88th St. Oak Lawn, IL were both charged with criminal
trespass to property after they were found in a new house under construction
in the 8500 block of South Meade. A day earlier over 250 pieces of lumber
were stolen from the premises. A court date has been set for March 21, 2008.
04 Feb 08- Possession of a Stolen Motor
Vehicle
Balios Antunez, M/24 yoa, 1636 S. 61st Ct. Cicero, IL has been charged with
possession of a stolen motor vehicle, driving on a revoked DL, criminal
damage to property, and illegal transportation of alcohol, following a
traffic stop on the listed date at 12:20 PM. Antunez was held for a bond
hearing and was issued a $50,000 D bond.
02 Feb 08- DUI
Hernan P. Guallpa, M/30 yoa, 4418 N. Tripp, Chicago, IL has been charged
with DUI, speeding, and disobeying a stop sign following a traffic stop on
the listed date at 3:00 AM. Guallpa has a pending court date of March 12th,
2008.
02 Feb 08- DUI/ Accident
Walter A. Noah, M/47 yoa, 4059 S. 58th Street, Chicago, IL has been charged
with DUI, BAC over the legal limit, and disobeying a stop sign following an
accident on the listed date at 12:50 AM. No reported injuries as a result of
the accident. Noah has a pending court date of March 21, 2008.
01 Feb 08 – Battery to a Police Officer
Leland E. Sorensen, M/35 yoa, 7909 S. Lamon, Burbank, IL has been charged
with simple battery to a police officer and public intoxication following an
incident which occurred on the listed date at 4:40 AM in the 6600 block of
West 79th Street. Sorensen expectorated in the face of the officer while the
officer was arresting him for public intoxication. Sorenson has a pending
court date of March 12th, 2008.
JANUARY 2008
31 Jan 08- Possession of Controlled Substance
Laura M. Swenson, F/46, 7842 S. Newland, Burbank, IL has been charged with
possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver, possession of
drug equipment, and possession of cannabis following a search warrant at the
listed residence. Swenson is being held on a $350,000 bond awaiting trail.
27 Jan 08- Burglary from Motor Vehicle
Janusz Z. Palka, M/26 yoa, 7800 S. Luna Ave, Burbank, IL, has been charged
with burglary following his arrest on the listed date for an incident which
occurred in the 7900 block of Nagle. Palka entered an unlocked vehicle and
removed property. He was located near the area by police and taken into
custody. Palka was taken to a bond hearing and issued a $10,000 bond.
27 Jan 08- DUI, Accident
Adam Lesnicki, M/29 yoa, 8507 S. 79th Ct. Justice, IL has been charged with
DUI, no valid drivers license, and improper lane usage following an accident
which occurred in the 7000 block of 87th Street. While investigating the
accident it was learned that Lesnicki had a warrant for his arrest for
failure to appear for a deportation hearing. Lesnicki has a pending court
date of 31 Mar 08 for the traffic charges.
22 Jan 08- Identity theft
Richard Ricardo Nash, M/43, 7221 S. Ellis Chicago, IL has been charged with
identity theft and credit card fraud following an incident which occurred at
the Kohl’s Store, 7608 S. La Crosse, Burbank, IL. Nash was issued a $15,000
bond and has a pending court date of 11 Feb 08.

Jerzy Ligecki, M/53yoa, 5321 S. Narragansett, Chicago, IL has been charged
with DUI and improper lane usage following a traffic stop in the 8000 block
of Central Ave. A court date has been set for 12 Mar 08.

David Bradford, M/50 yoa, 10538 S. Maryland, Chicago, IL, has been charged
with retail theft after allegedly stealing a leather coat at Burlington Coat
Factory, 8320 S. Cicero Ave. Burbank, IL. Bradford was transported to a bond
hearing and issued a $75,000 bond. He has a pending court date of 6 Feb 08.
