Our Message
By
their nature, tactical operations are hazardous situations. The
successful management and resolution of an incident often involves
the need for decisions that may affect the safety of persons
involved.
The SSERT was formed to provide highly specialized law enforcement
services to its member agencies. As specified in its Mission
Statement, the SSERT, will “provide member agencies with a tactical
response to Critical Incidents.” The Mission Statement and the SSERT
organizational plan purposely and effectively define the parameters
of SSERT Operations. This is due to considerations involving member
agency’s expected contributions when a SSERT Activation and response
occurs.
